Meet Dr. Felkner
Dr. Mary Martha Felkner, is a retired physician who attended Davidson College, UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine, and Vanderbilt University for her Pediatric Residency. In The Room is her inaugural publication following an unexpected early retirement and serves as the catalyst for her remarkable second act. When not writing, reading, or playing the piano, she enjoys yoga, playing mahjong and bridge, porch time by the pond, and long walks chatting with friends. Dr. Felkner has three adult children and resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Pete, and two beloved dogs, Sport and Millie.
